When do registrations close?

All participants are encouraged to register prior to the 11th February and check in early. This gives all riders the opportunity to pick up their ride bib, become familiar with the rides, the start/finish point and have any queries answered by event staff answer.

There is an Early Bird discount of $10 available for participants to register early for the first 4 rides and a $5 discount for the Family ride. With caps in place for the four main rides, we do not expect there to be any entries available on the day. If available, registration will close 15 minutes prior to each ride start time, but you must register on line yourself.

Is there a time limit?

Traffic management will cease at 12.30pm. Every effort will be made to encourage riders to be back at Ebden Reserve by then. The free soft drink and sausage sizzle with be provided to riders until 12.45pm.

Will there be drink stations and toilets on the course?

Yes. Each ride will have at least one (1) drink/rider reviver station and pass a sign posted public toilet. These are marked on the ride description maps for each ride.

What bike can I ride?

We welcome bikes of all descriptions including roadies, hybrids, CX, MTB, e-bikes, tandem, penny farthing, fixies and recumbent. Check the ride description for the recommended bike for that route.

Will there be a festival “Chill Zone”?

In character with the lakeside location, on finishing, riders will be provided a FREE sausage sandwich and soft drink.  Riders and supporters are encouraged to BYO and stay on for a picnic and perhaps a swim and enjoy the afternoon with friends and mates. There will be no store sales apart from a coffee van.

Will there be parking available?

Yes, there will be ample parking at Ebden Reserve. Marshals will be present to direct vehicle to ensure efficient and safe parking of vehicles.

Can our group set up a gazebo?

Yes, but there is limited space. A designated waterside area will be provided for groups that have entered the Team Challenge, with 8 or more entries.

Conditions of this are –

  • small gazebos only. 4m x 4m or less and no sides
  • erected in the designated location
  • the space is prior to the Event by contacting our Site Co-ordinator
